Tan Seang Teak
Mr Seang Teak Tan has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare administration, project development and investment spanning across several countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Hong Kong and Vietnam. Previously, he was the Executive Vice President of Healthcare and Wellness sector at Heliconia Capital Management, a subsidiary of Temasek. He was instrumental in expanding the portfolio of Heliconia Capital in Vietnam and was the interim Group CEO during the post-merger integration period. Prior to that, he was the Group Chief Operating Officer of Hoan My Medical Corporation in Vietnam which is the largest private healthcare group with extensive network of hospitals and medical center in 15 locations spread across South and Central of Vietnam. Hoan My Medical Corporation expanded from 6 hospitals to 15 hospitals in 4 years during the time he was the Group COO. In 2018 and 2019 he served as Chairman of Hanh Phuc International Hospital, Vietnam and successfully achieved JCI accreditation. During his tenure with Parkway Pantai, he was based in Hong Kong as the Vice President of Gleneagles Hong Kong Hospital project, successfully completing the USD900 million project within time and budget.
He holds a MBA and Master in Science in Biotechnology. Mr Tan is known for his generous sharing of practical healthcare operational management knowledge in numerous international and national healthcare conferences. Currently, he is appointed as a Managing Director of Van Lang University, Vietnam for healthcare project development and strategy.
